HobbiesI primarily love reading, writing, and languages. I fenced through high school and spent two years on UNC-Chapel Hill's varsity fencing team, competing in épée and twice earning a varsity letter. I am an enthusiastic swing dancer, with forays into contra, ballroom, and Charleston. I have proficiency in Czech, Hebrew, Latin, and Ancient Greek, and lived for five years in the Czech Republic as a child. I worked for two years as a theater technician at UNC-Chapel Hill's Memorial Hall, where we facilitated performances of figures such as Yo-yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Bill Nye, and Iron & Wine. I have performed in English language-learning materials for Czech-speaking audiences, and played Fleance, Banquo's son, in a university production of Macbeth. I love crochet and knitting.
