BS Biology Major at UNC Chapel Hill, Double Minor in Japanese and Medical Anthropology. Have taken all of the classes for a Chemistry minor as well. Graduated recently, Spring 2018. 3.59 GPA. A's and B's in all science and math courses. All A's in Japanese courses. I am starting nursing school in January of 2019.
Experience
Experience: I've volunteered and worked part time as a tutor in high school and college. I learn and teach conceptually, and I try hard to tease out gaps that students may have in order to create a solid foundation of knowledge. I make a note of discussing learning styles and interests so I can help implement studying tips that I think are most effective for each student. 800/800 in Math portion of SAT in 2014. I have taken (and passed with a B or above) all of the pre-med and pre-nursing prerequisite classes in college. I was on the Dean's List for 7 out of the 8 semesters for good standing. I am able to speak in Japanese for Japanese ESL students.
