I am currently a sophomore Public Policy Major and Spanish for the Professions Minor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2017 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Raleigh Charter High School where I was the captain of the swim team for two years and helped the NC Museum of Natural Science conduct research on a local ecosystem in Raleigh.
Experience
I have had experience teaching and tutoring in various fields since I was a freshman in high school. As an AP Spanish student I was a member of the Spanish help group at my high school where I helped underclassmen with their studies. As the oldest of five children I have been helping my siblings with their studies in Spanish as well as in US history and government and politics for over four years. I am currently a Spanish-English translator with the SHAC medical clinic in Carrboro. As an undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill I have had success in the Public Policy department and currently boast a major GPA of 3.8, having had great success in classes related to the role of government and politics in policy creation and the importance of US history in public policy. I am very patient and love helping others. I have been a swim coach for the past six years and as the oldest of five children have great experience in teaching and helping others. When it comes to tutoring, I have a passion for learning more about you as the student and am not afraid to spend extra time in order to make sure that you are as prepared and have attained as profound an understanding as possible.
