After I graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree in political science, I began my work as a tutor. I also started a job as an admissions counselor where I help students in Hong Kong prepare for college in America. My favorite subjects to tutor are English and preparation for standardized tests like the ACT, ASVAB, CLEP, GRE, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, and SSAT. However, I also work with students who need help in a large variety of other subjects, which include Mandarin Chinese, French, American history, social studies, music theory, piano, science, and math on both elementary and middle school levels. Additionally, I enjoy helping college students with essay writing since this provides me with the opportunity to get to know them better. I feel as if I have accomplished many goals in my life. I am well-traveled, have play ice hockey on the collegiate level, and performed classical piano at a European college campus. I enjoy many different activities when I am not tutoring, such as SCUBA diving, kayaking, weightlifting, reading, knitting, and crocheting. Someday, I would like to be thought of as a true Renaissance woman.
