I received my bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Alabama and I also hold a master's degree in mass communications from the University of Alabama. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in English from North Carolina State University.
Experience
I taught basic writing courses to undergraduate students when I was a graduate student at the University of Alabama. Students learned essential writing skills, such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and parts of speech. I also helped students develop a process for writing. I also spent about five years working as a professional newspaper reporter, which helped me become a skilled communicator. This experience gave me the tools to help others become great writers.
