I am a certified elementary school teacher who recently worked as an Intervention Specialist for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. I am currently on an extended maternity leave and tutor part-time so I can care for my 2 young daughters. I have 7 years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading/math interventionist, and instructional facilitator. I have experience working with EC, ELL, and AIG students and am very skilled at differentiated instruction. I earned my Master’s Degree in Literacy (K-12) from UNC-Chapel Hill. While literacy is my expertise, I am competent and certified to tutor in any subject area. I also offer enrichment activities for students who need extension.
