I am currently a masters student at Duke University. I will receive my MS in Biomedical Sciences in May 2016. I did my undergrad at the University of Virginia (BA in History, GPA = 3.53).
Experience
Tutoring experience: I tutored middle schoolers in math every week for two academic years in college. I tutored students in AP US History for one year. I tutored students in Physics during my junior year of college. I worked for Kaplan Test Prep my senior year in college. Test scores: 1550 on the SAT (800 Math, 750 Verbal). 34 on the MCAT (12 PS, 11 BS, 11 V; 93rd percentile. I want to be a tutor because have excellent experience in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, I have great communication and people skills, and because I enjoy helping others learn.
