I have been self-employed as an SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT coach since 2001. I taught those subjects for Kaplan in 2005-08. and taught for Mindspire in Durham from 2015-17. My own scores were 680 Verbal and 750 Math -- and that was under the old scoring system, before scores were rescale (upward) in the early 2000. Of course, to teach for Kaplan, I had to re-take the SAT, GRE, and GMAT and score in the 90th percentile, which I did with no problem.
