Liberty University - B.A., English w/ Teaching Licensure (3.77 GPA) Licensure to be completed with Student Teaching at Leesville Road High School in the fall of 2015 Future educational goals: I hope to get my Ph.D in Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After I complete graduate education, I plan on teaching African-American literature at the collegiate level.

-Tutor at Liberty University Department of Academic Affairs for Athletics (2013-2015) -Tutor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ASPSA (2015-present) I am passionate about tutoring English, Literature, Composition, Grammar, and other related subjects because I fell in love with language and literature while getting my B.A. in English. I have also had extensive classroom experience in my training as a teacher. I have taken classes in literature (American and British), writing (creative non-fiction, expository, creative fiction), theory (philosophy and literary criticism), and special subjects (African-American literature, Literature of Fitzgerald, Shakespeare, etc.). Along with receiving the "Tutor of the Year" award from the Liberty University athletics department for the 2014-2015 school year, I have been published multiple times including the Digital Commons of Liberty University and Patrick Henry College's "Red Hill Review."
