Experience
Most recently, I have gained experience leading and instructing the North Carolina Student Legislature. The North Carolina Student Legislature is a state-wide mock legislative organization that offers educational credit and hands on experience within the parliamentary process. As Delegate Chairperson of the Elon University Delegation and the Speaker of the House of the Council of State, I was responsible for teaching undergraduate students parliamentary debate procedure and formal bill writing format. I also possess experience as both a youth soccer coach and a summer recreation camp counselor. I find that my recent education at Elon University, coupled with my experience teaching and instructing students, athletes and campers will translate well to the field of educational tutoring. I believe that my strong communication and writing skills will also be beneficial and attractive to individuals that seek tutoring services. I am well versed in the college preparatory process after undergoing the process just four years ago.
