Hi, I'm Ian. I live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I am available to tutor in a wide variety of subjects. I can help in United States History, Math, Biology, Science, Reading, English, Social Studies, European History, and U.S. Constitutional History.I understand that each person has a different learning style. I also know that it is impossible to learn when you do not feel comfortable with the material. I strive to make each lesson plan compatible with every learning style. I also work hard to create a comfortable and safe learning environment so my students can relax. A little confidence goes a long way in learning, so I do whatever it takes to boost my students' confidence. I believe in making a connection with students and helping them unlock their hidden potential. Flexible, supportive, dedicated, and patient are four words that I can best use to describe the kind of tutor I am. I look forward to helping the students I tutor reach academic success! In my spare time, I can be found watching baseball, enjoying music, playing the guitar, exercising, and cooking.
