I have been a private tutor for the past three years, in addition to teaching at a private school in Oakton, Virginia. Growing up, I developed a passion for literature and a love of history which lead to me focusing on the Humanities in both college and graduate school. After taking various AP level courses in both History and English during high school, I went on to have a concentration in Victorian literature in college. As a History major, my area of focus was European History, and developed an area of concentration within this field that focused on genocide. I love teaching because I get immense enjoyment from instilling in my students both a passion for learning and the confidence to freely express themselves.
