Having graduated with a degree in English, I am qualified to teach English. One of my biggest accomplishments as a writer was being awarded Honorable Mention by Glimmer Train for one of my short stories. http://www.glimmertrain.com/pages/finalists/2015_06_june_fopn_hm.php My goal as a tutor is to make sure that each of my students leave my lessons with a better understanding of the subject matter. Everyone has different learning styles and needs and it's my job to figure out what that entails for each and every student. Once I do, I tailor the lesson plan to help each student get the most out of each lesson. I love teaching and would love the opportunity to help your daughter and/or son improve their writing and reading skills.
